Pulebardha Beach Ksamil travel guide starts with one of the most beautiful and underrated beaches on the Albanian Riviera — Pulebardha Beach. Despite its name meaning “Seagull Beach,” most travelers simply know it as Pulebardha Beach.

I visited Pulebardha Beach Ksamil travel guide location on June 15, 2026, during a coastal road trip between Saranda and Ksamil. After stopping at nearby Mirror Beach, I continued along the cliffs to compare both places.

By the end of the day, Pulebardha Beach clearly stood out as the more impressive destination.

The space feels more enclosed, the cliffs are higher, and the atmosphere is significantly more peaceful.

Where is Pulebardha Beach Ksamil Location

Pulebardha Beach is located on the Ionian Sea coast between Saranda and Ksamil.

A narrow mountain road branches off from the main Saranda–Ksamil–Butrint route and leads down toward the coastline.

There is a fork in the road:

  • one direction leads to Mirror Beach
  • the other leads to Pulebardha Beach destination

The beach itself is hidden between tall limestone cliffs and is not visible from above.

How to Get to Pulebardha Beach 

By Car (Recommended)

The easiest way to reach Pulebardha Beach Ksamil destination is by car.

Parking is available on top of the cliffs. In June 2026, the price was:

  • 400 ALL per car

Driving also allows you to combine:

  • Pulebardha Beach
  • Mirror Beach
  • Ksamil beaches
  • Butrint

By Bus

A highway bus stop marks the junction where the road splits toward Mirror Beach and Pulbardha Beach.

You can take a Saranda–Ksamil–Butrint bus, but it stops only on the main road.

From there:

  • ~1 km walk to the trail
  • steep descent to the beach
  • same uphill return

For Pulebardha Beach Ksamil experience, public transport is not ideal.

The 500-Step Descent to the Beach

At the base of Pulbardha Beach, a staircase begins where visitors climb back up toward the parking area. Several people are ascending the steps.

After parking, the real adventure begins.

The descent includes:

  • stone stairs
  • dirt paths
  • wooden stair sections
  • cliff viewpoints

I counted roughly 500 steps down.

It takes a few minutes, but the return climb is physically demanding.

However, the views make every step worth it.

My Honest Review of Pulebardha Beach Ksamil Experience

Once I reached the beach, I immediately felt a strong sense of natural enclosure.

Compared to Mirror Beach, Pulebardha Beach Ksamil location feels like a separate world surrounded by cliffs.

The water was:

  • cold
  • crystal clear
  • intensely blue-white under sunlight

Visibility was excellent, even at deeper points.

This creates a refreshing, immersive swimming experience unlike many other beaches near Ksamil.

Beach Conditions, Entry & Prices

The beach is mostly pebbled:

  • fine pebbles
  • large stones
  • small sandy areas near the water

Sea entry is comfortable and clean.

In 2026:

  • Sunbed + umbrella set: 2000 ALL (~€20)

Facilities include:

  • beach bar
  • restaurant
  • sunbed rental
  • parking
  • basic toilets

Mirror Beach Connection Walk

One of the highlights of Pulebardha Beach area is the coastal connection to Mirror Beach.

The two beaches are separated by a rocky formation.

You can cross:

  • by walking in shallow water (knee to waist deep)
  • or by swimming around the rocks

It is a very popular photo spot due to dramatic scenery.

Diamond Beach (Hidden Gem)

Small Briliant Beach is located at the far end of Pulbardha Beach.

On the left side of Pulebardha Beach area lies a hidden bay known locally as “Gjiri i Brilantit” (Diamond Bay).

This small cove features:

  • white limestone cliffs
  • turquoise water
  • natural rock formations

It is one of the most photogenic places on the entire southern Albanian coast.
