Diamond Beach with white rocks and turquoise sea in Ksamil

Diamond Beach Ksamil Albania: Hidden White Cliffs, Turquoise Water & How to Get There

Diamond Beach Ksamil Albania is a small hidden bay located next to Pulebardha Beach on the Albanian Riviera. This place is considerably less known than the famous Mirror Beach. However, it is home to some of the most beautiful white cliffs along the entire stretch of coast between Ksamil and Saranda.

I visited Diamond Beach on June 15, 2026 while exploring the coastline between Ksamil and Saranda. I swam in the sea, walked along the shoreline, and spent time photographing the cliffs and surrounding landscape. What impressed me most was the unique blue color of the water and the dramatic limestone formations shaped by the Ionian Sea over centuries.

If you are looking for one of the most beautiful hidden beaches near Ksamil, this place deserves a spot on your travel itinerary.

Where Is Diamond Beach Ksamil Albania

Diamond Beach is located at the far left end of Pulebardha Beach.

Although it is technically part of the same bay, it feels like a separate beach because of the impressive white cliffs that surround it.

The beach itself is relatively small, approximately 30 meters wide.

Beyond the shoreline, the coast transforms into a landscape of white limestone formations, shallow turquoise water, and rocky outcrops sculpted by nature.

Many visitors consider this section of coastline one of the most photogenic places between Mirror Beach and Pulebardha Beach.

How to Get to Diamond Beach Ksamil Albania

There are two practical ways to reach the bay.

Option 1: Walk from Mirror Beach

People crossing from Mirror Beach to Pulbardha through the sea
Visitors cross the shallow sea passage between Mirror Beach and Pulbardha.

This is the route I personally recommend.

Parking cost during summer 2026 was approximately 500 lek.

Start at Mirror Beach and walk along the shallow water next to the rocky headland separating the beaches.

The crossing is surprisingly easy:

  • knee-deep water near the rocks;
  • waist-deep in the deepest sections farther from shore.

After crossing, you arrive at Pulebardha Beach.

From there, continue walking along the shoreline for approximately 50 meters until you reach Diamond Beach.

This route allows you to explore three beautiful coastal locations during a single walk.

Option 2: Access Through Pulebardha Beach

The second option is to drive directly toward Pulebardha Beach.

Several parking areas are located above the beach.

Parking cost during summer 2026 was approximately 400 lek.

After parking, visitors must descend around 500 steps toward the sea.

The path includes both stone stairways and wooden steps.

The walk is not particularly dangerous, but it requires moderate physical effort.

Keep in mind that you will need to climb the same route back to the parking area afterward.

For this reason, the route may be challenging for elderly visitors or travelers with limited mobility.

Why Do People Visit Diamond Beach

Rocky cliffs and clear blue sea at Diamond Beach near Ksamil
Crystal-clear water reveals the seabed along the rocky coastline of Diamond Beach near Ksamil.

The main reason visitors come to Diamond Beach Ksamil Albania is simple: natural beauty.

This area remains largely untouched by large-scale development.

The cliffs are the real attraction.

Over hundreds of years, waves gradually eroded the limestone coastline, creating unusual shapes, curves, and natural formations.

The bright white rock reflects sunlight and enhances the colors of the sea.

As a result, the water often appears light blue, turquoise, and almost white near the shoreline.

In my opinion, this combination of white cliffs and vivid water colors creates one of the most beautiful landscapes on the Albanian Riviera.

Swimming at Diamond Beach

During my visit, the sea was exceptionally clear and clean.

The rocky seabed remained visible through the water even several meters from shore.

I particularly enjoyed swimming here because the water felt refreshing after hiking along the coastline.

The bay looks its best on sunny days.

Sunlight reflecting off the white rocks creates a distinctive blue-and-white glow in the water that is difficult to capture fully in photographs.

If possible, plan your visit during clear weather.

The colors become even more impressive.

After visiting Diamond Beach Ksamil Albania, I can confidently recommend it to travelers looking for spectacular scenery and one of the most beautiful hidden spots on the Albanian Riviera.

This is not a destination for nightlife or beach parties.

Instead, it appeals to visitors who appreciate nature, photography, crystal-clear water, and dramatic coastal landscapes.

For me, the combination of turquoise sea, brilliant white cliffs, and peaceful surroundings made Diamond Beach one of the highlights of my trip to southern Albania.

In the next guide, I will share my experience visiting Santa Quaranta Beach near Saranda. There I discovered a completely different atmosphere. Santa Quaranta is one of the most relaxing seaside lagoons on the Albanian Riviera.
